In a Thursday news release, the Eunice Police Department announced that it was seeking information regarding stolen cemetery equipment.

Officers responded to Ardoin's Marble Works, located at 3250 Hwy 190, in reference to a stolen vehicle on Thursday morning. The vehicle was a white 1997 Ford F450 with a flat bed and Louisiana license plate C112855.

The truck was used to transport cemetery equipment, including a green funeral tent and a casket lowering device, to and from funerals.

Eunice Police later located the truck and equipment behind a business on Hwy 190 East in Eunice.
