BATON ROUGE, LA (KPLC) -

According to an official with the state Department of Education, the results from the LEAP, iLEAP and LAA2 tests are expected to be released on Tuesday.

KPLC has received numerous calls from concerned parents that claim the release of the test results was delayed by the state.

Rachael Gallodoro with the state DOE said a calendar issued in January may have led to some confusion and that the results will come out at about the same time as in years past.

Gallodoro said a tentative release date of May 16 was on the calendar and that there was never an official date set.

"In the past years, we have released it around this time, and we are on track to release it on May 20," Gallodoro said. "We are still on track to be consistent with the timeline in past years."

The LEAP test, given to fourth- and eighth-grade students, was administered in March and April. The iLEAP, given to students in grades 3, 5, 6 and 7, was administered from April 7-15. The LAA2, given to students in grades 4-8 and 10-11, was administered April 7-15.
