IOWA, LA (KPLC) -

Three men are in custody following a burglary Thursday morning in Iowa, city police said.

Iowa Police Chief Keith Vincent said Sean Michael Bartie, 23, Garrett James Taylor, 22, and Jackson David Dondis, 20, have been accused of breaking into a home on East Second Street and threatening the homeowner.

"The victim said the suspects gained entry into the residence when no one was home and damaged to a door," Vincent said in a news release. "The subjects returned when they observed the victim was home, re-entered unannounced and made verbal threats to the victim."

Bondis and Bartie, both of Lake Charles and Taylor, of Orange, Texas, were charged with aggravated burglary, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and criminal damage to property.

Bond was set at $275,000 for each man.
