LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) -

A Lake Charles man pleaded not guilty on Monday to one charge of second-degree murder.

Johnathan Guillory, 28, is accused of shooting and killing 43-year-old Felton Boutte Jr. following an argument on February 6.

Boutte Jr. was the stepfather of Guillory's girlfriend.

Guillory remains in the Calcasieu Correctional Center on a $500,000 bond.
