LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) -

At about 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, the Lake Charles Police Department issued a traffic advisory stating that a vehicle wreck had completely blocked off the roadway in front of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office on Broad St.

Originally, the road was expected to be cleared in 30-45 minutes. The LCPD later issued an advisory at about 11:30 a.m. saying that the road would be completely shut down for about 3 hours.

The Lake Charles Police Department responded to the incident, in which no injuries were reported.
