ELECTION: Duncan defeats LeLeux in run-off for Sulphur mayor

SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

Incumbent Chris Duncan has defeated Ron LeLeux in the run-off election for Sulphur mayor.

Duncan captured 2,045votes (56.5 percent) compared to 1,574 votes for LeLeux.

Duncan, a city councilman at the time, pulled off a major upset in 2010 when he unseated LeLeux.

LeLeux was Sulphur's mayor from 2002 to 2010.

All results are unofficial until verified by the Louisiana Secretary of State's Office.
