LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) -

ACTS Theatre will present the stage production "Hairpsray" beginning June 6 at the LaGrange High School Theatre. Showtimes are June 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. and June 8 at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $15 for students with a valid ID. They are available for purchase at Moss Bluff Flower and Gift, Lakeshore Medic Pharmacy, and the Civic Center box office. Tickets may also be purchased by calling 433-ACTS or online at http://www.actstheatre.com/.

The cast for the stage production includes the following members: Shauna Temple as Tracy Turnblad, John Paul Primeaux as Link Larkin, Casey Doucet as Edna Turnblad, Angela Thomas as Motormouth Maybelle, Corey Dotson as Seaweed J. Stubbs, and Kelly Rowland as Penny Lou Pingleton. Also featured are Paula McCain as Velma Von Tussle, Savannah Foreman as Amber Von Tussle, and Joseph Boyette as Corny Collins.
