20 dead after tornado outbreak, live video captures damage

Good Tuesday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*A devastating tornado outbreak across the south has people on edge.  At least 20 people have died as a result of the severe weather.  We have compelling live video to show you this morning of one tornado making its way toward a medical center in Alabama.

*The storms did not spare Louisiana.  We'll update the condition of a teen that was hurt after a tornado moved through Bossier Parish.

*It's the court versus a truck stop owner.  Michael Sandlin has been fighting to keep his live tiger at Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete.  Find out why the state senate isn't helping the tiger's owner keep it.

*Do you have a musical instrument that's just sitting around your house collecting dust?  If so, you could make a big difference in a child's life!  In a live interview this morning, we'll tell you about the MusicMakers2U program.

*We also have a live interview for National Tourism Week.  From voting for the Top 20 restaurants in Southwest Louisiana to a new Share Your Story campaign and Children's Day - we'll tell you how you can boast about all that this area has to offer!

*Meteorologist Ben Terry has the storm report from areas hit hard by severe weather overnight.  He says we have a warm day in store with a possibility of some isolated thunderstorms today, followed by cooler temperatures tomorrow.

Make it a Sunrise day!

A few showers possible Monday for the eclipseA few showers possible Monday for the eclipse

Overnight, we will have clouds clear and will become mostly clear. Temperatures will slowly fall to the mid 70s. It will feel very warm due to the humidity. Heat indices will be in the 80s, throughout the night. Monday, the day of the eclipse, there is just a 30% chance of rain, so we will most likely have a few clouds during the time of the eclipse. There could be a few showers around the peak of the eclipse, but more likely, at least some clouds.
