Deadly weekend on Southwest Louisiana roadways

It's been a deadly weekend on Southwest Louisiana roadways. Three people have died in single-vehicle crashes. The latest crash happened around 6:15 this evening on I-10 in Sulphur. We'll have details.

Plus, folks living near University subdivision experienced power outages after an 18-wheeler took down a utility pole. The accident also caused traffic delays as officials cleared the area.

Also, the members of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association are preparing to host this year's Law Day. KPLC's Gerron Jordan will tell you how this year's theme is celebrating Americans' right to vote.

And Sunday may have started out on a rainy note, but the clouds cleared and the sun came out long enough to smell the roses. KPLC's Haley Rush takes the Spring Rose Tour.
