LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Lake Charles police have made a fourth arrest in connection with an armed robbery that occurred April 18 in the 2000 block of 6th Street.

According to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center, 19-year-old Jaylond Demond Jackson was arrested Thursday morning.

Harold Wayne Clark Jr., Devin Jamal Jones and Desmond Jamal Richard, all 21, have already been arrested in connection with the robbery.

"The victim was at home when she heard someone knocking on her door," Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said earlier this week. "When she answered the door, a friend (Clark), entered and an argument followed.

"As Clark was leaving, four males forced their way in, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money. After obtaining the victim's cash the suspects left."

Kraus said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

All four men are from Lake Charles, are facing two counts of armed robbery and are being held on $200,000 bonds.
