Nashville man accused of threatening to kill police officers

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Nashville man is accused of threatening to kill police officers.

Deterio Jones was arrested after allegedly walking up on a crime scene and yelling at a patient who was getting help from paramedics.

Officers say Jones told them he was going to put a bullet in their heads when he got out of jail and that he'd have his friends do the job if he was kept in custody.

He reportedly told police he was memorizing the number of the patrol car and asked for the officers' badge numbers.

Jones has been in jail since Thursday morning. He is facing charges of retaliation and several charges related to drinking alcohol.
