One dead in early morning crash on I-10

Happy Friday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*One person is dead following a crash on I-10 WB in Sulphur early this morning.  It started with a car breaking down in the middle of the interstate and the driver attempting to push it out of the way.  We'll tell you the chain of events that happened next.

*A family stationed at Ft. Polk that lives in nearby New Llano is suing the town over its breed-specific ban on pit bulls.  Hear why they are saying the mayor is not following through on a promise to grandfather in their dog and what information we are getting from the town's office today.

*Great news on the search for a missing elderly woman from Lafayette Parish!  76-year-old Hazel Hebert has been found safe.  Find out where she was found and how long she had been missing.

*Looking for something to do this weekend?  There is truly no shortage of events in Southwest Louisiana from this evening's Spring Art Walk to Saturday's Walk for Autism, NAMI walk, Dragon Boat races and the Allen Parish Canoe Festival.  We'll have the weekend rundown.

*Our friends from SOWELA are cooking an easy and tasty quail recipe in the Sunrise Kitchen.  If you need an impressive meal, this one will do the trick!

Make it a Sunrise day!
