SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA (KPLC) -

Three Lake Charles men have been arrested on armed robbery charges, city police said.

Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said Harold Wayne Clark Jr., Devin Jamal Jones and Desmond Jamal Richard, all 21, are in custody in connection with an armed robbery that occurred early Friday morning in the 2000 block of 6th Street.

"The victim was at home when she heard someone knocking on her door," Kraus said. "When she answered the door, a friend (Clark), entered and an argument followed.

"As Clark was leaving, four males forced their way in, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money. After obtaining the victim's cash the suspects left."

Kraus said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

Bond was set at $200,000 for each man.
