BEAUREGARD PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

Christopher L. Bounds has pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated burglary, according to the Beauregard Parish District Attorney's Office.

The 22-year-old Bounds was accused of killing a Dry Creek woman and her two young daughters and then setting fire to their home in February 2011.

Bounds was given three life sentences plus 30 years on the burglary charge.

The Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office determined that all three victims -- 40-year-old Patricia Kreuzberger and 10-year-old Mya and 5-year-old Nichole -- died from causes other than the fire and their deaths were classified as homicides. State Fire Marshal investigators determined that the fire was intentionally set.

Bounds was indicted in early 2013 by a Beauregard Parish grand jury on unrelated charges of aggravated rape and sexual battery of a minor, aggravated burglary, aggravated second-degree battery and resisting an officer with force or violence.
