Crime Roundup: Sulphur man charged with third-offense DWI

A 26-year-old Sulphur man is facing a charge of third-offense DWI, according to records from the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

Donovan Shane Buller was arrested by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office early Thursday morning near the intersection of South Beglis Parkway and Carr Lane in Sulphur.

Buller, who was also charged with driving with a suspended license and a non-moving violation, was released after posting a $5,500 bond.


Arrest Reports

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office reported the following arrests:

• Thomas J. Bellard, 18, Lake Charles: theft over $1,500, theft under $500, obstruction of justice, direct contempt of court. Bond: $11,000.

• Kermit Jerome Levier, 28, Lake Charles: second-degree battery. Bond: $10,500.
