    Over the last couple of weeks someone has been circulating so-called BP oil claim forms in the Lake Charles area. While man, if not most medical claims associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have been settled, someone is holding meetings around the Lake area trying to get people to sign up. But they're not too forthcoming when it comes to saying who they are or who they represent. Lafayette, LA (KPLC) -

Festival International de Louisiane will be held April 23-27 in downtown Lafayette. The festival is celebrating its 28th year.

Admission is free, although some special events may require the purchase of tickets.

Activities at the event will include street performers, a 5K race, a children's area, cooking demonstrations, cultural workshops, art displays, a movie night, a brunch with special performances, and art and craft vendors.

The lineup of performers includes Zachary Richard, Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Geno Delafosse & the French Rockin Boogie, Kevin Naquin & the Ossun Playboys, Dick Dale, Dege Legg, Johanna Divine and more. Parking for festival goers will be at Cajun Field, with a free shuttle bus leaving every 15 minutes.

The following items will not be allowed on the festival grounds: weapons, illegal drugs, pets, glass containers and tents.
