MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The U.S. Postal Service honored Tuskegee Airman C. Alfred "Chief" Anderson and his legacy at a stamp dedication on Wednesday.

The ceremony took place at the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site in Tuskegee.

In March, the 70-cent First-Class stamp was dedicated in his honor during a ceremony in his hometown near Philadelphia.

Anderson has been referred to as the Charles Lindbergh of Black Aviation for his record-breaking flights that inspired other African-American to become pilots.
