ELECTION DAY: Duncan, LeLeux in run-off in Sulphur mayoral race

SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

Incumbent Chris Duncan and former mayor Ron LeLeux have advanced to a run-off in the race to be the mayor of Sulphur.

The run-off election is set for May 3.

Duncan had 47 percent of the vote to 23 percent for LeLeux.

Clopha Boudreaux grabbed 18.1 percent while former Sulphur councilman Mike Koonce had 10.0 percent.

Results are unofficial until verified by the Louisiana Secretary of State's Office.
