AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

The Auburn Police Division would like to remind the public that on Saturday April 12, travel in the area of Sand Hill Road and S. College Street will be affected by increased traffic volume caused by issues related to the annual Alpha Psi Rodeo.

Officers and signage will be posted informing the public that travel on Sand Hill road (Lee Road 10) between South College and Society Hill road will be limited to local residents and individuals possessing parking passes for the rodeo between 9 a.m. until approximately 10 p.m.

The Police Division is taking these measures to limit traffic congestion and the unnecessary delay of motorists. The public's assistance is requested by avoiding unnecessary travel in this area during this time.

Any questions can be directed to the Patrol Division at 334-501-3150 or the non-emergency number at 334-501-3100.

More details on the rodeo can be found at the official website.
