CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for two men and two women in connection with a string of attempted robberies.

Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said the suspects tried to use intimidation to get money from convenience store clerks on at least five occasions. They left without anything each time.

Myers said two of the attempts occurred from 6-7:30 p.m. on March 18 at Five-Star and Gillis Grocery on U.S. 171 in Moss Bluff. At least three other incidents were reported at businesses in Jeff Davis and Acadia parishes, Myers said.

The suspects were seen in a newer model, white Chevrolet Suburban with a dent in the front quarter panel on the driver's side.

One of the suspects has been described as a white woman, 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-4, approximately 135 pounds with straight, shoulder-length black hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 337-491-3605.
