LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

A 22-year-old Lake Charles man has been arrested in connection with the double shooting Thursday night at a vigil at McMillan Park, city police said.

Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said Andre Jordan Broussard turned himself in and is facing a charge of attempted second-degree murder.

Judge David Ritchie set bond at $350,000.

Broussard was indicted in 2010 for inciting to riot and obstruction of justice in connection with the death of Alexus Rankins.

"The investigation revealed that area community members were holding a candlelight vigil for the three victims in last year's triple homicide at McMillan Park when an argument occurred resulting in a shooting," Kraus said.

One person was taken to the hospital and under went emergency surgery. Another person was grazed by a bullet and did not go to the hospital.

Jeminskian J. Arvie, 20, David Jermaine Galmore, 23, and Fitzgerald Tremayne Guillory, 20, died last year when they were shot at McMillan Park. Armonta Dquon Hadnot, of Lake Charles, was eventually arrested and charged in connection with the triple homicide.
