Missing woman, Felix Vail hearing, teen shooting investigation

Good Wednesday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*There is still no sign of a Jennings woman reported missing yesterday morning.  We'll show you 24-year-old Jamie Lawdins' picture and why the search for her has such immediacy.

*Felix Vail, the man accused of murdering his wife more than 50 years ago, will appear in a Lake Charles courtroom today.  Find out what is on the agenda today, including a ruling on evidence.

*A 15-year-old is in critical condition this morning after police say he was shot by a 12-year-old.  It's a disturbing story with several unanswered questions, including how the boy got the gun.

*Controversial new abortion restrictions are up for discussion today in Baton Rouge.  They are similar to the ones in Texas that forced the closure of several clinics.  We'll tell you how the changes could affect the state's five abortion clinics.

*For years, local students were graded on a ten point scale.  Then, that grading scale changed, making it harder for some students to improve their grades.  In today's teen report, our KPLC LCB-Academy TV teen reporter looks into whether the grading scale is hurting students too much.

Make it a Sunrise day!
