TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

This is definitely one of the more unique bank robberies we've seen in quite a while, not because the suspect was overly aggressive or used a certain kind of weapon, but because he actually brought a small Chihuahua along with him.

You read it right.

Surveillance footage shows a small cart on the counter to the left of the bank robber and inside that cart is a white Chihuahua puppy.

The suspect entered Chase Bank inside Fry's Supermarket at 9401 East 22nd Street back on March 14.

He didn't pull out a weapon or even imply one.

He simply put the cart on the counter along with his little white dog and told the tellers to fill it up with cash.

"Anyone's who's willing to go into a bank and demand money with people around -- and this individual was actually very loud -- anyone willing to do that, who's not afraid of what people are thinking around him, we have to be very cautious of," says Sgt. Pete Dugan of Tucson Police Department.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, about 35 years of age.  He's 5'10", 180 pounds, police say.

If you have any information about this man you're asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

A reward up to $1,000 will go to the person whose tip leads to an arrest in this case.
