SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

Sulphur residents can now pay their utility bills online. The City of Sulphur has launched a payment system through their City web site, according to a news release.

Residents who pay this way will owe the balance on their account plus a merchant fee.

"The online utility bill pay will enhance the City's ability to serve customers by providing quick and secure access to account information. Customers will be able to view their bill and payment history, and make secure credit card payments," said the City in a news release.

The payment portal is available HERE. Residents who wish to pay using this new system must create an account login. Once this is done, they will be able to view and pay utility bills.

The City of Sulphur will continue to accept other forms of payment, including bank draft, mail-in, drive-thru or walk-in.

For more information, call 337-527-4522 or 337-527-4523 or email utilities@sulphur.org.
