Live at the Lakefront continues March 21

The third season of Live at the Lakefront continues March 21 from 6 to 10 p.m. in Lake Charles at the Lakefront Promenade's Arcade Amphitheater with performances by Loaded 44rz and The Flamethrowers.

The final concert of the Live at the Lakefront series will be held on March 28 and will feature performances by The Onlies and Ashes of Babylon.

Concerts are free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

Food and craft vendors will also be set up along the Lakefront. No pets or ice chests will be allowed.

    Two people are dead following a single-vehicle crash that happened east of Lake Charles early Thursday morning, state police said.

    Sgt. James Anderson with Louisiana State Police Troop D said the crash occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on La. 3020 near Catalina Street.

    DeRidder police are looking for a man caught on video attempting to steal a bag from an unlocked car parked at a gas station pump.
