A frontal boundary will move out of Texas late tonight leading to the possibility of a few strong storms across Southwest Louisiana.
The greatest threat from these storms will be heavy rain, strong winds, and cloud to ground lightning. The Storm Prediction Center has put portions of Southwest Louisiana back in a slight risk area for severe weather but that threat remains on the low side.
The storms will begin to develop late this evening and will continue into the overnight hours tonight.
As always make sure to have a way to be notified of any potential watches or warnings that may be issued by the National Weather Service. During the overnight hours, the best way to be notified is by having a weather radio.
By early tomorrow morning, the storms will come to an end but a few showers may linger into your Sunday.
