SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) - Another day of Sulphur centennial celebrations, brought on a parade.
"I got strawberry suckers and green beads," said one parade-goer.
Each float was a representation of Sulphur's history.
"It's a lot of fun," said another parade-goer. "My husband is riding on the champion football state float."
After the parade, country singer John Michael Montgomery sang some classics.
Lastly, a carnival ended the night with plenty of food and rides.
"We love it here," said one Sulphur resident.
A celebration that was shared with family, friends, and the city.
"It brings the community together," said another Sulphur resident.
