SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

A 46-year-old Sulphur man is facing two counts of stalking, authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said Robert Lee Bergeron III was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

Bergeron has been accused of making numerous threatening phone calls to a woman and also following her home after work, Myers said.

The victim said the calls began in February, according to Myers.

Bergeron was released Wednesday night after posting the $20,000 bond set by Judge Ron Ware.
