Suspect arrested in double shooting on See Street

Good Evening,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for Nightcast.

Lake Charles Police arrest a man wanted in a double shooting. It happened on See Street Thursday night. Police say they found suspect William Christopher Hill this morning hiding in a house on See Street. He now faces several charges, including two counts of attempted second degree murder.

Plus, we'll have more on the double shooting at a Lake Charles nightclub that sent two people to the hospital. Authorities say the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. However, they don't have a suspect and say no witnesses have come forward.

And there's still a lot of questions surround the death of a Vinton teen killed after being hit by a train. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office said the 13-year-old boy's body was found around 7:30 this morning after the train operator reported hitting something on the tracks.

And another reminder to set your clocks forward an hour… that's right Daylight Saving Time is here. Meteorologist Zack Fradella has the forecast.

We'll see you tonight at Ten for these stories and more. Until then, we're always on at kplctv.com.
