Tuesday morning around 9:00 a.m., the U.S. Marshal's Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Lee Collins, 29.

Collins was wanted by Cleveland Police for homicide.

The charges stem from a home invasion that happened on Dec. 17 of last year.  During the incident, two suspects ambushed a man at his home near the 900 block of Rudyard Ave. in Cleveland.

The suspects, Robert Brown and Willie Riley, forced the victim into his bedroom at gun point and assaulted him knocking him to the floor next to his bed. The victim retrieved his firearm from under the bed and opened fire in self-defense.

The victim struck Brown, who later died at the scene.  Riley came to check on Brown and was also struck by gunfire.  Riley fled the scene and was apprehended a short time later with a fresh gunshot wound to his knee.  Collins was allegedly the getaway driver and drove off once the shooting started.

Collins was charged with homicide on Dec. 17, 2013 and on Feb. 24, 2014 Cleveland Police reached out to the NOVFTF and asked for assistance in locating him.

Collins was found inside a home in the 400 block of E. 120 St. in Cleveland. He was hiding in a bedroom.
