Bank robber on the run after stealing cash from a Huntington Bank branch in Point Place

Toledo Police are investigating a bank robbery in Point Place.

Officers say a man walked into the Huntington Bank branch at Summit at 124th around 5 p.m. Tuesday. He apparently handed the teller a note and demanded cash.

The man fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

A TPD sergeant says the suspect in this bank robbery looks very similar to a suspect that robbed a Charter One Bank just one block away last week. He is described as approximately 30 years old, 5 foot, 8-11 inches tall, medium build with dark facial hair. He was wearing dark clothes.

Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111.
