Delayed parade, ice threat, Mardi Gras rundown

Happy Fat Tuesday to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on your Mardi Gras day:

*Today's Motor Gras parade in downtown Lake Charles has been pushed back an hour because of weather concerns.  It will now roll at noon, rather than 11:00.  Find out if any other parades are impacted because of the cold weather.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry will have extended weather segments this morning as he tracks the threat of ice in Southwest Louisiana.  He'll tell us where there's a possibility of ice accumulation.

*De-icing trucks are out this morning keeping the I-10/210 bridges safe.  We will let you know if there are any changes to travel plans this morning.

*If you are willing to bundle up today and head out, there's still a ton of events in store for Fat Tuesday!  We'll give you the rundown for what's happening in Lake Charles and surrounding communities.

*We will be sampling an intense chocolate-dipped strawberry Bavarian cream King Cake this morning - a new deluxe Mardi Gras offering this season.  No wonder today is called "Fat Tuesday!"

Make it a Sunrise day!
