Happy Monday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*Today is the day ground will be broken for the new River Bluff Park project in Moss Bluff.  Find out what's in store off Theriot Road this morning as the shoveling gets underway.

*A traffic stop near Baton Rouge lands a soldier stationed at Ft. Polk in jail.  We'll tell you about the drugs found stuffed in his duffel bag.

*The 75th anniversary celebration for McNeese State University rolls on today with an event to honor past presidents.  We'll tell you about the opening reception for the MSU historical exhibit.

*Calcasieu Parish Animal Services is always full of cats and dogs desperately in need of homes.  In this morning's Sunrise Pet Shop, we'll introduce you to this week's featured pet that just might make your family complete.

*Temperatures this week are dramatically different than what we experienced last week.  Meteorologist Ben Terry is using the word "spring-like!"  Does that mean we will see rain?  He'll have your extended forecast.

    East Beauregard Elementary celebrated its annual Career on Wheels Day. Last Friday, the school hosted a huge assortment of vehicles that represent careers within the community. Those vehicles included an ambulance, fire truck, BECI truck, State Trooper motorcycle units, DeRidder Police, Police Jury Dozer, race car, Wildlife and Fisheries truck and boat, drilling rig, a helicopter and more!  The event included an appearance from the radio station and picnics for differ...
