LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

A 46-year-old man was sentenced to eight years in prison Thursday after pleading guilty to theft.

Judge Kent Savoie sentenced Silton Arvie Jr. to four years on each count of felony theft $500 to $1,500. The sentence will be served consecutively.

Arvie was arrested Nov. 12, 2012.
