    In a special meeting Monday evening, the Sulphur City Council will have a public hearing before voting on a raise for the mayor's salary. The issue was introduced at the council's meeting on Monday, April 10, by Councilman Randy Favre.     A vehicle attempting to turn left from Sallier onto Ryan Street had its driver's side mirror clipped by a train Monday morning, authorities said. The driver's side door of the vehicle was then torn off as the driver attempted to notify the train conductor about the mirror. Avoid the area of Ryan and Sallier Streets for the next hour due to a traffic accident that is causing road blockage.
