Community invited to meeting on school closures

Good Tuesday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's ahead on today's Sunrise:

*A critical meeting happens this afternoon in Lake Charles to discuss the possible closures of three schools.  We'll tell you what's at stake today with the Calcasieu Parish School Board and how you can let your voice be heard before any decisions are made.

*Later today, state lawmakers are set to start talking about doing a study to look at the advantages and disadvantages of legalizing marijuana.  It has to do with an old law on the books allowing doctors to prescribe medical marijuana.

*The number of millionaires living in Louisiana is growing.  A new report says nearly 80,000 households are worth more than one million dollars.  Find out how we stack up with other states.

*Are you a Houston Astros fan?  The team's caravan is heading to Southwest Louisiana today and you can meet some of the stars.  We'll tell you how you can meet some of the players and watch them raise a flag over the city.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry tells us a cold front has moved through the area overnight.  Just how cold will it be this week?  He says get ready for a big temperature drop!

Make it a Sunrise day!
