LSU running back Jeremy Hill announced Monday he will forego his junior season at LSU to enter the NFL draft in May.
"I am a Tiger for life," Hill said via Twitter. "I will forever be grateful to my LSU fans, friends, coaches and family. This decision has been very difficult for me. With all of that being said, I have decided to forego my Junior season and enter the 2014 NFL Draft."
After sitting out the 2011 season due to legal issues, the Redemptorist High star had flashes of stardom in his freshman season, finishing the year with 755 yards and 12 touchdowns.
In his 2013 breakout season, Hill ran for 1,401 yards, with an average of 6.9 yards per carry and 16 touchdowns.
Hill finished his LSU career in style against Iowa, running for 216 yards on 28 carries and two touchdowns.
