Good afternoon, SWLA!

Gerron Jordan in for Agnes Derouen, here's a look at what we're working on for 7News at Noon.

Two separate killings in both Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes leave four people, including the gunman, dead and three others injured.   We'll tell you how they're connected and where the investigation now stands.

The first wave of the flu season has hit! Four states, including Louisiana and Texas, are reporting widespread infection rates.  We'll tell you doctors are saying about this flu outbreak and how you can protect yourself.

When a disaster hits, you could lose your social security card, driver's license, insurance information and other important information.  We'll show you how a group of middle school students are working on creating an app that will store all of that information.

Cooler temperatures definitely seem to be a trend lately.  7Stormteam Meteorologist Ben Terry will tell us how long they will stick around or if changes are on the way.

All of these stories and more coming up on 7News at Noon; until then, we're always online at kplctv.com and on your mobile devices.

We hope you join us!
