Over the last couple of weeks someone has been circulating so-called BP oil claim forms in the Lake Charles area. While man, if not most medical claims associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill have been settled, someone is holding meetings around the Lake area trying to get people to sign up. HUGHES, AR -

(WMC-TV) - An Arkansas woman has died as a result of the severe storms that moved through St. Francis County Saturday evening.

According to Charles Lee with the Hughes Fire Department, Charlene Lewis lived with her husband and their three kids in a mobile home near Hughes, Ark. She passed away around 5:30 a.m. at The MED.

First responders say Charlene and her granddaughter were in the backseat of a car, trying to escape the high winds outside.

"Words can't really tell how I feel," said Charlene's brother-in-law, Freddie Lee Smith, Jr. "My family is hurting, so I'm hurting, too."

In addition to the Lewis' home, the other two mobile homes that once sat on the same land are also gone.

Jessie James Doss is a good friend of the Lewis family. He showed up Sunday to see the damage firsthand.

"Unreal man," he said. "Amazing what a tornado can do."

Family members say as Ronnie Lewis rushed out of the mobile home to the car with his wife and family, winds picked him up and dropped him down in a field a quarter mile from his house. He remains in the hospital with a broken back and ankle. His daughter has minor injuries and his granddaughter is at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital with a broken arm.

Charlene Lewis was a nurse at Crittenden Regional Hospital.

James Sanders, 43, of Coahoma County, Miss., was also killed when high winds blew over his mobile home, pinning him against a tree.

A third death was reported in Jasper, County, Miss., which is north of Hattiesburg.
