JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two people were killed as a result of Saturday night's storms that ravaged parts of the state.

Those fatalities happened in Clarksdale and the Heidelberg area.

Coahoma County Coroner Scotty Meredith confirmed the Clarksdale death occurred.

Meredith identified, James Sanders, 43, as the victim.

Sanders passed away when high winds blew over his mobile home, pinning him against a tree.

Sanders' home was located on Bobo-Rena Lara Road in rural Coahoma County, west of Clarksdale, Mississippi.

A second death was reported in Jasper County, in the Heidelberg area, which is north of Hattiesburg.

Coroner Randy Graham said 31-year-old Bryan Harrington died after driving into a tree that fell across the road.

Numerous injuries were also reported as a result of the storms.

Initial damage reports from 15 counties range from damage to homes to trees and power lines down.

MEMA urges the public to report any damage you may have sustained to your property or any that you see to your local Emergency Management Agency.
