OXFORD, MS (RNN) – Ole Miss broke a two-game losing streak and a four-game losing streak against the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders 72-63 on Saturday.

But their victory may have been short-lived. In his first start of the regular season, guard Marshall Henderson had his right ankle stepped on by a MTSU player during another player's free throw attempts, but remained in the game, scoring 15 points.

The Rebels (7-2) led for most of the game against the Blue Raiders (7-3) after losing their last two games against Oregon and Kansas State. MTSU lead briefly in the second half, but Ole Miss took over late in the second half to win.

Guard Jarvis Summers was Ole Miss's leading scorer with 25 points.

The Rebels next game will be at home against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
