Reeves woman dies in overnight crash

Good Evening,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on for Nightcast.

A crash late last night claims the life of a 76-year-old Reeves woman. It happened on Highway 171 in front of the Gillis Food Mart. We'll have details.

Plus, a Lake Charles family is the victim of vandals and thieves again. KPLC's Gerron Jordan has the story and what they believe will help catch the culprits.

Also, if you have a special needs child – you know how hard simple routine things can be. Today, a local mom organized a holiday event to reach out to other families with special needs children. KPLC's Monica Grimaldo has this story.

The first person to get a full face transplant is talking about the life-changing surgery. We'll have more behind the technology that made it happen in tonight's Healthcast.

And a man on a plane from Lafayette to Houston falls asleep on the flight and is left on the plane. You'll hear what happened when he woke up to discover he was all alone in the dark on the plane.

And you'll need to keep those coats handy as we head into the work week. Chief Meteorologist Wade Hampton is in tonight with a check of the forecast.

We'll see you tonight immediately following NFL Sunday Night Football. Until then, we're always on at kplctv.com.
