City of Lake Charles set to "Light Up the Lake"

Hope you guys are staying warm. It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas and soon the Lake Area will be looking like it. The City of Lake Charles is set to "Light Up the Lake." A whole host of events are taking place leading up to the big event. We've got you covered.

Plus, they were getting into the holiday spirit in Sulphur and Westlake. We made it out to their Christmas Parades.

And it may be cold, but that did not stop hundreds in the Lake Area from bundling up and supporting the Purple Stride Walk in support of awareness for pancreatic cancer. KPLC's Monica Grimaldo was there and has the story.

Also, a special dedication at Historic Central School honored an architect who helped revitalize and restore the Lake Charles landmark. We're there as Friends of Central School dedicated the J. Joseph "Joe' Champeaux II Plaza.
