Big day expected on common core changes

Good Tuesday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*Later today State Superintendent of Education, John White, will ask the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education to make changes to the roll-out of common core.  Find out what he wants to delay and how changes could affect standardized student testing.

*The search is on for the man suspected of robbing a bank in DeRidder yesterday afternoon.  We have the surveillance pictures this morning to help identify the man.

*Meantime, there is another manhunt this morning.  This one is for an escaped inmate from the Vermilion Parish Jail.  We'll share the description of 30-year-old Christopher Dyson.

*A Louisiana teen charged with felony criminal assistance to suicide makes a deal with prosecutors.  It all centers around a cyberbullying case that authorities say led to the suicide of a teen girl.

*A DeRidder church takes its Christmas message one step further with a live drive thru nativity, complete with real animals.  We'll give you a sneak peek this morning and tell you when you can check it out.

Make it a Sunrise day!
