7 Sports talks to man running barefoot from Canada to South America

Good Evening,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom… Hope you're having a great Saturday night. Here's a check of what we are working on for Nightcast.

We have new video of DeQuincy firefighters battling an overnight fire that destroyed a home. Plus, more on how you can help the family, who lost everything.

Also, more tonight on Small Business Saturday and the impact experts say stores opening up early on Thanksgiving had on Black Friday.

We'll also show some cool video of ice spinning in a river and how 14-foot python killed in the Everglades is being put to good use.

Plus, just when it starts to look like Christmas the cooler weather says goodbye… but Meteorologist Cedric Haynes says it is set to return. He'll have all the details in his forecast.

Seth Lewis is on the Sports desk tonight: He'll of course have highlights to the crazy finish between Alabama and Auburn. Plus, more highlights from the Bayou Classic.

And, KPLC's Rebecca Cade also out and about today. She caught up with the "Barefoot Runner" – a man who is running barefoot from Montreal to the Southern tip of South America. She'll tell you why he's running and why he made a stop in SWLA.

It's all coming up tonight at Ten on Nightcast. Until then, we're always on at kplctv.com.
