Playoff tickets on sale

Playoff tickets for McNeese State's Dec. 7 second round game in the FCS playoffs are currently on sale. Season ticket holders have until 5 p.m. Tuesday to reserve their seats for the game against either Samford or Jacksonville State. After 5, all tickets will be released for purchase.

The McNeese ticket office will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday but closed Thursday-Sunday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2. Tickets can also be purchased online at McNeeseSports.com.

McNeese was awarded the No. 6 seed in the playoff field and granted a first round bye.

Kickoff for the contest is 6 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Ticket prices are $20 for general admission, $25 for reserved seating and $41 for premium seats which include Endzone Club and Blue and Gold seating.

    The man wanted in connection with the theft of a crossbow has been arrested according to a post made on the DeRidder Police Department Facebook page. DeRidder Police Department Paul Thomas Lavan, 49, of Kinder, is charged with theft by shoplifting.
