Playoff tickets on sale

Playoff tickets for McNeese State's Dec. 7 second round game in the FCS playoffs are currently on sale. Season ticket holders have until 5 p.m. Tuesday to reserve their seats for the game against either Samford or Jacksonville State. After 5, all tickets will be released for purchase.

The McNeese ticket office will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday but closed Thursday-Sunday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2. Tickets can also be purchased online at McNeeseSports.com.

McNeese was awarded the No. 6 seed in the playoff field and granted a first round bye.

Kickoff for the contest is 6 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Ticket prices are $20 for general admission, $25 for reserved seating and $41 for premium seats which include Endzone Club and Blue and Gold seating.

    If you don't remember we just had an election last month, don't feel bad, voter turnout was abysmal.  However, that doesn't change the cost of holding the election, meaning when hardly anyone shows up to vote, the cost per voter who actually casts a ballot is high.
