NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Police in New Orleans are investigating an early morning fight that left a 33-year-old man dead and two other people injured.
It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in eastern New Orleans. The victim and two friends got into a fight with two other men in a parking lot.
One of those two men is believed to have stabbed the 33-year-old victim in the chest and abdomen. He died later at a hospital.
A 35-year-old man also suffered a stab wound. He was hospitalized in stable condition. A 32-year-old was cut on the forearm with a broken bottle. Police said he would be treated and released.
Police are working to identify the two suspects. The victims' names were being withheld while police notified family members.
