McNeese Coach Viator on Northwestern State

This week McNeese takes on Northwestern at Cowboy Stadium. The Demons are 5-5 on the year, but are the number 1 defense in the league, in terms of yards giving up. They may be working with a few new faces on the coaching staff, but Head Coach Matt Viator says this game has always been a challenge.

"Northwestern this week. They've won two games in a row, so they come in on a two game winning streak having beat UCA two weeks ago and then beating Lamar this last week. I think Coach Thomas has done a great job. Offensively, they went through a spread offense and their doing a good job. The McNeese Northwestern game is always extremely competitive, and I'm sure this one will be too." - Viator
