How low will the mercury drop?

Good Evening,

Lee Peck in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on for Nighcast.

Shutdown until further notice… we'll have more on why Rosepine Volunteer Fire Fighters are saying they've had enough. They closed the Fire Department down Tuesday evening and after requests for equipment upgrades have gone unanswered. KPLC's Erica Bivens will have this story.

The Calcasieu Parish School Board is leading by example. Employees took to the streets this morning to promote a healthier lifestyle for students. KPLC's Haley Rush was there for the 5K & Fun Run.

Plus, there is no excuse to be tired tomorrow as we gain an extra hour of sleep tonight. Remember to set your clocks back for Daylight Saving Time and check the batteries in your smoke alarms.

And the mercury has already dropped… According to Meteorologist Cedric Haynes by morning temperatures will be in the 40s, and in some areas the 30s. He'll have your complete forecast.

Also, McNeese back in play at home tonight. And GREAT football weather as fans packed Cowboy stadium to watch the Pokes take on Southeastern. We'll have highlights in Sports.

We'll see you tonight at Ten. Until then, we're always on at kplctv.com.
