A 16-year-old Arizona boy faces first-degree murder charges today. Authorities say he used a frying pan and a hammer to beat his mother to death during a fit of rage. He apparently also tried to kill his stepfather.

A partnership is announced as the Calcasieu Transit program is now operating with the City of Lake Charles Transit offices.

Also today, the White House says it didn't anticipate the scale of the problems it's seen with the healthcare website. However, some Silicon Valley companies say they know what went wrong and how to fix it.

Plus, a Virginia driver mad over the suspension of her license trades in her four wheels for some real horse power.
